DARCY NEUFELD, B.A., LL.B.
As the owner of TSN Law, Darcy brings her roots in the community and knowledge of the area to her client relationships. She provides a wide range of legal services including Real Estate, Corporate Structuring and Returns, Commercial Transactions, Estate Planning and Administration, Debt Collection and General Civil Litigation. Darcy has established an extensive Family Law practice, appearing in Chambers at the Court of King’s Bench on a regular basis. She has also successfully represented clients at the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan.
Darcy graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 2009. During her articles, Darcy earned the CPLED award of distinction for being of the top student in Saskatchewan in the articling program. She was employed with Taylor & Saretzky during her legal studies and continued as an articling student in 2009, an associate lawyer in 2010, and eventually a partner in 2012. In 2015, Darcy assumed ownership and management of TSN Law from Jim Taylor as he stepped away from practice.
Darcy is currently serving as District Governor of the Melfort/North East bar with the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association. She has also been involved with the local Chamber of Commerce, serving as president and past-president. Darcy also volunteered her time and expertise with Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan and attended free legal clinics in Prince Albert to help fill the access to justice gap.
Darcy carries a Bachelor of Arts with majors in English and Philosophy as well as Bachelors in Law. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Darcy worked in the education field, first as an administrative assistant at the Carrot River High School, and then in various positions at Cumberland College throughout the region. She grew up on a farm North of Carrot River, Saskatchewan, and then lived in Carrot River for over 20 years while raising her children. She now currently resides at the Resort Village of Tobin Lake. Prior to becoming a full-time lawyer, Darcy remained active within the family farming business and continues to be a farm girl at heart. During this time and during her legal studies, her two sons, Calder and Shay, were a busy part of her life with both of them pursuing competitive hockey. Both of her sons also remain rooted in the community with Shay teaching full-time at LP Miller Comprehensive, and Calder involved with the family farm. During her spare time, Darcy enjoys spending time outdoors, on the lake and with friends and family.
